גם במלחמה האהבה מנצחת!
נועה בן חיים ועידו שור תכננו להתחתן בחתונת טבע בצפון ממש היום, אך המלחמה הארורה טרפה את הקלפים ועידו נאלץ להעלות על מדים ולהתגייס למילואים ולהצטרף ליחידה שלו בסיירת מגלן, תוך שהוא מקבל את הבשורה כי החבר הטוב שלו ששירת בימ״מ נרצח.
למרות זאת הזוג וכל החברים החליטו ששמחות לא מבטלים וכפי שנאמר לחיי העם הזה! הזוג התחתן היום בתיכון ברנקו וייס בקיבוץ נען כשכל חברי הקיבוץ והצעירים התגייסו לטובת הזוג וארגון החתונה .
מי עוד הגיע לשמח חתן וכלה ועוד 70 לוחמים מילומאנקים? רמי קליינשטיין התנדב להכניס את הזוג בברית הנישואין, כשעל השמחה והעלאת המורל הופקד מועדון הקצב של אביהו פנחסוב, כשהפתיע את כולם כשנכנס היישר לחופה רכוב על סוס.
וכל זה נאמר לחיי העם הזה, שכמה טוב שהוא כזה.
אז יאללה תרימו לזוג הטרי ולעידו שכבר מחר חוזר לבסיס ושיחזור עם חבריו וכל חיילי ישראל בשלום.
